This year I my soon to be 5 year old wanted a dance party for her birthday, so I picked Strawberry Shortcake Dance party, seeing how they just released a dance movie starring the beloved red
hair girl. My daughter loves baking so we made strawberry shaped sugar cookies frosted them red with green frosting stem and added mini chocolate chips for the seeds. We froze them then
wrapped them in clear cellophane and attached a strawberry shortcake tag with all the party information on back. I free hand drew Honey Pie(strawberries horse) on large white paper and
colored her the proper colors except for her tail. The tails I made one for each party guest out of yarn added some ribbons, this will be to play pin tail on pony. I made some giant
strawberries out of cardboard, painted them red added gold glitter seeds and green tissue paper stems(these will hang on wall)Plates and napkins are strawberry shortcake clearance items. Cups
I find at a local dollar store had a characters on them. I printed original color sheets of characters to make color book. Take home bags are pink felt bags with flowers on them and inside
include, strawberry flavored whoppers, strawberry shaped sunglasses, small strawberry figurine and strawberry character stickers. Pink tablecloth and cupcakes with pink frosting and cream
filling as to my daughters request.
We will play orange blossom limbo, angel food cake walk, blueberry hokey pokey all to music and watch Strawberry Let's Dance" movie. Snacks include heart shape PBJs sandwiches strawberry flavored milkbaby carrotsand rainbow goldfish."
