Hey everyone! I could not think of a really original idea for my party so I had a look on this website and found the idea of an Oscars party. Invitations: The invitions were going to be cards with the picture of a red carpet and an oscar on the front. They will have a ticket inside and a sheet of papergiving them a name of an actor, actress, film, character and animated film. This will be needed at the party. I will put gold stars inside and put them in a gold envelope. Arrival: My friends will arrive in twos or threes and a red carpet will be rolled out ouside our porch. Their names will be on stars and laid out all over the carpet. My sisters and their friends will take pictures like paparazzi.They will be asked for their ticket at the door. My dad will be dresses as a bouncer and he will collect the tickets. They will be gven a champagne glass of a non-alcoholic cocktail and will go inside. Decorations:The colour schem is red, black and gold. I will have fairy lights and glitter. Also posters of movies and famous actors and actresses.Food: I will ahve a posh table set up with white bows around the chairs. Guests will ahve a posh meal with chocolate fondu for pudding. Activities: Friends will be asked to fill in a pool sheet of best movies and actors etc. This will then be counted up and the film with the most votes will win. Each person received their details in their invite. They will receive a certificate. They will also receive a ballot sheet and vote for best dressed and best model etc. We will award oscar trophies for each winner at the awrds ceremony. After party: I will have an after party and friends can dance, talk and eat. This is where i will open my presents and give a thank you speech! Guests will leave at around 10.00pm. I hope some of my ideas are useful and i hope my party goes well!!
