When throwing my daughter's sweet sixteen party, I knew she would have wanted something a little mature than luaus, or a princess theme. Sweet Sixteen birthday parties seemed to become hugely
popular after mtv started airing it's my super sweet 16" show. So I decided a nightclub theme would be cool for her and her friends. They are at the age where they are to young
for bars room for the dance floor huge large screen tv a very nice bar with an additional tv and a hidden kitchen. The event room overlooked the pool spa and river. So the kids could also
hang around the pool if they wanted.
We hired a D.J. who came with everything we needed. He had an amazing light show fitting for the nightclub theme and a shadow box that when you entered it it relfected your dancing shadow thru white fabric very cool! The party was catered so that when any of her friends wanted a drink or food they would simply walk up to the bar and order what they wanted. We also had a champaigne fountain with non alcohalic champaigne to add to the grown up theme. Since I wanted a sweet sixteen birthday with a nightclub feel it was difficult to find cool sweet sixteen party decorations. Everything seemed so outdated or childish. I did get lucky however when I came across the store www.sweetsixteenstore.com. They have some really cool and fun stuff for the girls. Everyone enjoyed the party and had a fantastic time. Making sure you get an outstanding D.J. really is the trick. Teens love to dance. Not just the girls either. I couldn't believe how many boys were on the dance floor and let me tell you they could dance! So the nightclub theme really worked for me and my daughter. Maybe it'll work for you too."
