My 12 year old daughter is a huge fan of Survivor so we decided to have a survivor party. She invited 6 girls and 6 guys we made invitations with the survivor logo. When the kids first came in
I had two camps set up in the back yard one was a tent and nice table and chairs and blanket and the other was a picnic table (thats it). The kids first came in and I had boys vs. girls they
had to make a flag and name their team and put face paint on. The first challenge was a marble ice challeng get some glass marbles and put ice over top of it in a bucket and then with your
feet only each player has to get 5 marbles out of the ice. The team finished first wins Reward. I had a treasure chest filled with dollar store stuff boys and girls. Next was the food auction
I gave each player 100.00 monopoly money and had a number of different items covered and they could bid on them and the player who bid the most won the item. I allowed them to team up money
so it was more fun. I had normal food (pizza slice, Hotdog, Cheese sandwich, Pizza Pop, Chicken Nuggets and also did yucky stuff Broccolli, gummy worms and dirt, gummy frogs in glass jars
with jelly etc....
After the lunch Drop your Buffs, chose two team captains and they had to pick alternate boy girl until two new teams were made. We then did a food challenge each team. One player from each team at the table I would uncover item and then whoever ate it the fastest would win the point team with the most points at the end of the game won reward. (trip to the treasure chest). The items were: Fish Eggs - Black tapioca in shooter glasses Snakes Liver - Smoked Oysters Monkey Balls - Chocolate covered brussel Sprouts Goats Eyes - Lychee nuts with red food colouring 100 year old Fermented Duck eggs - Boiled Eggs with black cracks (Food Colouring) Worms - Black spagetti Then the final obstacle course - In the upper yard the kids filled cups with water run down to the tree house up the stairs down the slide then over a plank with a mini pool under it and then through a black tube and then to the top yard to fill a bucket the team who filled the bucket to the line then gets the puzzle pieces and has to assemble the puzzle team that does it first wins reward. I bought two dollar store puzzles and then painted the survivor logo on them with Happy B-day maddie as the saying. I bought all my survivor decorations on line tiki dishes and napkins a 6ft tall palm tree drink cooler, a 3ft tall blow up monkey, platters and streamers all with the tiki design. It was a fantastic party and the kids loved it. I had the brown paper goody bags filled with all the reward prizes that they won and additional candy it had the survivor logo on each bag.
