I wanted to have a Christmas party with some of my friends from school. DECORATIONS: Obviously, it is Christmas time in December, so the whole house was already decorated in Christmas
decorations. Sadly, the party wasn't at night because we had something else planned on Saturday night so it had to be on Sunday. My party was from 4:00pm-6:30pm. INVITATIONS: I bought some
Christmas paper from my local craft store and printed out my invitation on that paper along with directions to my house. I was expecting 10-12 guests so it wasn't very big. COSTUMES: I wore
my red, areopostal sweatsuit along with a santa hat. ACTIVITIES/GAMES: As the guests arrived we just sat around and chatted for a while until everyone showed up. After that, we went in my
sunroom and played a couple of games: The first game was called draw on your head". Each person gets a piece of paper writing utensil and a large flat book. You have to put the paper on
the book on your head and draw whatever the caller says to draw. My mom was the caller and told us to draw a snowman with a hat scarf and gloves. The winner gets a prize (ME!). The second
game is called back to back. two people have to sit back to back while one person holds an object (Christmas themed for the season) and has to describe their object to the person on the other
side who has to draw what they think the object is. After that we had a talent show which I told them of days before so they could prepare. We have an amplifier that my little sister uses
(plays around with) and announced all the acts through that with a mic. The winner was chosen through a vote by the guests. We also did karaoke with the amp too and pulled up youtube from my
tv and looked up lyric videos. Christmas themed obviously! Next we played dance central on my xbox kinect (they asked me. wait no BEGGED ME!!). After that we played x-mas bingo. I went on
dltks printable crafts website and custom-made some bingo cards. My mom was the caller again. Then we had a Christmas wordsearch. We have an empty room with no carpet or flooring so we made
that into a winter wonderland! We bought some cotton stuffing from the local craft store to spread all over the floor. Note: you made need a lot depending on the size of your room the walls
were already light blue so that was excellent. I bought some sticky snowflakes to put on the walls. Then i printed a whole bunch (probably 200-300) white tiny dots to look as if it was
snowing i brought in a big fan and had the dots blowing(it wasnt very loud). I also bought that sprayable snow that you can also buy from your craft store and sprayed it on a fake tree I
brought in there. I got a fake snowman from Michaels craft store the ones you put on your lawn at christmas time it was light up too and I put that in the room. My mom thought it would be
cool if we brought in a cooler fan to bring out the whole snow day effect. Eventually people wanted to go get the coats. We have a speaker system in our house so we played "Walking in a
Winter Wonderland" in that room only. It was awesome. Next we had a gift exchange called White Elephant Poem. Not just "white elephant". You can find that game and a whole
bunch of other games on www.santalady.com. PARTY SNACKS:Next we ate. We had pigs in a blanket hot chocolate cookies chips dip all of the usual party foods. As my friends left i handed out
little gift bags (4 for 1.50 at party city!) containing a small printable paper maze game bath and body works little lotions (always a great party favor for girls) xmas pencils and little
block note note pads. They loved it. At the begining of the party i kind of hoped they would see our lights outside so I was happy that when the party was over it was nighttime and the lights
were shining. Everyone talked about my party during school and the boys were actually kind of jealous that it was only a girls party!!!! It will be a party I will never forget!!!"
