For my 10th birthday I had a Horrid Henry sleepover! It was the most awesome party ever!For those of you who don't know what Horrid Henry is it's an English book/TV programme/movie about a boy called Henry who is horrid and his perfect little brother, Peter. INVITATIONS- For the invites I did a faded picture of Henry's head in the background with the info in print over it. They said: Dear ____________, You are invited to ___________'s horrid birthday sleepover! On _____________ at _____________! Bring ____________________! Hope you can make it! From _________________! If you wanted to do more you could do alliterations with yours and their names like To Perfect Peter, From Moody Margaret ect. DECORATIONS: For the decorations I printed loads of pictures of the characters off google images and stuck them around the house. I also brought a white, fabric flag (dollar store)and painted it to look like the purple hand gang flag (purple with white circle in the middle, purple hand print in the white circle)Then I got a load of purple and blue streamers and put them around the house and a canopy of purple and blue streamers on the ceiling of the party room. I also got balloons with pictures of Horrid Henry on (internet)and scattered them pretty much everywhere.  ACTIVITIES/GAMES- I had a load of games prepared but since my guests loved the games so much and we played loads of rounds, we didn't get to play all the games. I'll tell you the 2 most popular. The 1st one was called balloon bash. Basically we all had 2 balloons and we choose a character to be like Horrid Henry, Perfect Peter, Rude Ralph ect. and then my mum (but this could be any adult or even a guest who doesn't want to play) called out 2 of the characters then they had to go to the middle and bash each other until 1 person said ouch or ow ect. the person who didn't yell ouch gets a point and then it carry's on with different characters being called out. First person with 5 points wins. The 2nd game was basically pass the parcel but with Horrid Henry wrapping paper and a Horrid Henry prize. These were my guest's favourites but their was loads more they liked. They were also really easy to invent!FOOD- For the food we all had takeaway pizza (dominos)it was really nice and really easy. For dessert we had a chocolate fondue with marshmallows, strawberries and other nice things!We also had a few sweets as well. For snacks later we had popcorn, leftover pizza, biscuits and sweets. CAKE- For my cake my mum made me a rectangle flag with white and purple icing to make it look like the purple hand gang flag.SLEEPOVER- After all the games a most of the guests left but 2 stayed for a sleepover. First we watched Horrid Henry the movie (keeping with the theme) then we watched loads of episodes of Family Guy. We had a few snacks then it was lights out. We chatted for a bit then went to sleep. BREAKFAST- When we woke up we had breakfast in bed. We had chocolate pancakes, waffles, toast,eggs, sausages,beans and other cooked things.After breakfast we went the park then came back and their parents picked them up. FAVOURS- I brought some party bags with Horrid Henry characters on them. Inside I put candy, small games ect. all Horrid Henry things which I got off the internet. My whole party was amazing! Really fun, really easy and really cheap!
