For my daughters 2nd Birthday, I planned a large (30 children + Adults) Strawberry Shortcake Party in the Park. Invitations: I used store bought SSC invitations to invite guests. For
decorations I mixed SSC and coordinating solid color table cloths(4), Napkins, Utencils and Paper goods and streamers purchased online at Toyhunt.com, and at Party City. For food I assembled
fresh subs sandwhichs, mixed salads and fruit to keep a fresh" menu. For games I hand painted large Poster boards with SSC Characters that represented each game station. These Included:
Pin the tail on Honey Pie Pony Huckleberry Pie's Leg Tie (Leg tie race) Strawberry Shortcake's Pinata Break Orange Blossom's Tossin (bean bag toss) in which I made Orange fabric bean bags to
be tossedCoCo Calypso's Bingo and of course my favorite Apple Dumpling's Apple Bobbing! (Posters took $10 of supplies) Winners of each game recieved a SSC Prize ($.99 SSC Puzzles or $.99
Coloring Books) There was also stations made for Rainbow Sherbert's Rainbow Floats and Angel Cake's Cupcakes.. where the kids all made thier own Rainbow sherbert floats in Strawberry soda and
decorated thier own pink or green frosted cupcakes. (Very messy but worth the memories!) Kids and parents really enjoyed all the games and posters... It was much worth the work in painting
them. I filled strawberry shaped favor bags with various fruit candies SSC stamps stickers Pencils and plastic jewelery from Oriental Trading Co. The whole party was a great success!! My
daughter was still young for some of the games but she absolutely LOVED watching and participating as much as she could! "
