HEY! My name is Emily and I am having a party to celebrate the end of the school year. It's not for a birthday so I dont have a huge buget but I have some great, cheap ideas I thought I'd share with u gyes! The theme Is going to be pink and white nightclub because I absolutley fell in love with that color combination and color themes always make a party unforgettable! INVITATIONS: My invitations were typed up on the computer in a nice font (Lucinda Calligraphy) so that they looked elegant.They said You're Invited To.. The Pink and White Nightclub  Where..When..What.." and all of the other need-to-know info. I then used a scrapbooking paper cutter to cut them down so that the invitation was just as big as the writing the garage door was shut so there was a sparkly pink arrow pointing to the side door. At the side door my dad was dressed as a bouncer and asked each guest "name?" and if they were on my list then they entered the garage by walking through silver streamers. Since my garage has lots of lights I didn't want to turn off the lights cuz then it'd be way 2 dark so i spray painted the lightbulbs pink so that the light came out pink and dimmed the light too! it was awsome! DECORATIONS: I had silver streamers hanging from the entrance door and pink and white ballons covering the floor (I didn't go that OUT OF THE WAY on decorations)! Half of my garage was a "dance floor" where my ipod was blasting mustic through my iHome the other half of the garage had a food table with night club food like cheese sticks french fries bagel bightsts munchies and hot wings there was also chairs for people to sit and eat or relax in. The bar was also in the garage- it served lemonade as virgin- margarita's apple juice in wine glasses pink lemonade as martini's and soft drinks! Since my party was from 6:30-10:30 I figured people would get tired of dancing around 8:00 but we ended up dancing till 9! At about the middle of the party I opened up the garage door and I had white christmas lights in all the tree's and bushes in my yard! We played Volleyball with my volleyball net and beachballs played ladder ball had silly string fights did sparklers and finally had a bon-fire! It's a lot easier just to have every thing set up and let people do what they want when they want because if u plan for EVERYBODY to go play volleyball at this time and then EVERYBODY stay together and go to the bon fire ur gonna have complaints!
