Olympic Games for 10-12 year olds - This age group loves outdoor games, so when my son turned 10 we had a Birthday Party of "Olympic Proportion" . That's what we put on the  party Invitation.   Practically the whole Pee-wee football team was there. We had a swim relay in the pool. Punt, Pass & kick was popular (for obvious reasons). Frisbee throw, and for the not so athletic, a trivia contest and water balloon toss.  Bronze Silver & gold Ribbons were awarded to the winners. The ribbons were home made with standard cloth and placed around the winners necks as we hummed  the "Olympic tune", or the "Theme from Rocky" ribbons can also be purchased at the local party store  Make sure the non-winners  have cool gifts too, so they don't feel left out. Plenty of sodas, pizza & snacks round out the menu. The boys truly enjoyed themselves, and kept asking if my son was going to have any more parties.
