Movie Premiere Nite!! EVERYTHING is here for you, so please read this, I would love to help out!! have it at around 7:00, 'til whenever you please This an idea which can have many objectives. Your guests would be invited to a grand gala, a Hollywood Movie Premiere, like Hollywood Stars. Now This idea works if there is a very popular show premiering that night ( a show all your friends love), or perhaps a video (we we're also in a play that was broadcast on TV, so we watched our big movie debut!) music videos, or even make a two part idea, we're you can star in you home-made movie, then watch it( look up <be in the movies> party please) Now that you have a purpose, out go the invites: I love a very fancy one that states you are the star! or Hollywood Premiere, or a <Admit One> ticket stub, letting them in the very prestigious event. Now each invite states all the regular stuff, plus that they have to bring a date (thus a pic of their fave celebrity) When they arrive, balloons (alot) are at the doorway, greeting them is a dad, sister etc. posing as a bodyguard. They have to state their name, and wait and see if their on the guest list. They received a <backstage pass> then hey came down the stairs, which a "red carpet" from construction paper, and my mom pretended to be a paparazzi, it was very funny. I had candles lit everywhere, and the furniture placed so everyone could see the movie. Over that area read :Theatre. Over the TV was streamers to have a curtain effect. In another area (or the dinning room) read: pre-party bistro, where orders are taken for cocktails (different pops with cool names you make em!) Then we all sat down in the theatre, and introduced our dates (it was very funny, one of my friends actually made a fake person!!) Then orderves are brought down( I hired my sitter for the night, you could do the same, or just get them yourself) It was cute finger food etc. (see below )After some munchies, we slapped in the video, of coarse a little intro was made (you could even record one on a tape for drama!) We watched it, and clapped etc. After, cake was served (anything, stars, movie sayings, camera, I had stars), and more drinks etc. We took a group shot, and just relaxed! Now a fun thing to do would be get a Karaoke machine for after, and pretend your a rack star!! Food: finger things like hot appetizers where a great hit (anything you desire) I also had sandwich spirals, which looked cool. Different kinds of popcorn would be perfect. have a few pops on hand or fancy plastic glassware (dollar store) For party bags, ( I know you might be old)send copies of the pics to your friends!! This is not an expensive party, just a few foods, pop and cheap decorations! It was a BLAST and everyone participated like a true movie star, and got into character!! HAVE FUN
