Party Game Idea: Catch the Pokemon, be Trainer of the Day! I needed one more game for my 6 yr old's Pokemon Birthday Party and came up with this.   I surfed the web and downloaded Pokemon pictures. I used several different Pokemon characters.  I scaled down the pictures to a manageable size, (2x2) and printed all the pictures. (I printed 50 characters)  Then I had the birthday boy old help me cut out the pictures and paste them to plain index cards before the guests arrived. (this can be done anytime before the party) We hid the index cards all around the party area.  At game time, we let all the kids "catch" as many Pokemon as they could. The one with the most Pokemon was the Trainer of the Day and received a prize.  All the kids thought this was great fun because the whole idea of Pokemon is to see who can catch the most.  The adults had fun too, watching all the kids catch as many Pokemon as the could.
