My 7 yr. old wanted a POKEMON party. (what else?) He wanted to earn all 8 badges, this ended up being a big hit for all the kids. We had 17 so the games are geared towards bigger parties but I
will also include some others...GOOD LUCK I HOPE THIS HELPS! BOULDER BADGE:
WE filled a Togepie (made from a 2 liter bottle) ,but you could use anything) with gravel from the driveway and had them guess how many "boulders". CASCADE BADGE: We did pin the horn on Seaking. We made a Seaking on a big old piece of cardboard and every kid got spun around 7 times (birthday). Any H20 pokemon will do though. Keep this silly so that you don't make others tired of waiting. EARTH BADGE: The kids sat in a circle and we played the pokemon CD. they passed the presents when the music stopped birthday boy opened the gift in his hands. Believe me this is a great game as kids are soo excited to give their presents it makes it much less chaotic and everyone can see. RAINBOW BADGE: We placed pokemon characters all over and told them to find 3 pokemon of different colors and return. (You could use anything) VOLCANO BADGE: We put red food coloring in a squeeze bottle and the kids ran around. When my husband squeezed the bottle (making the volcano erupt) the kids had to freeze.. if they moved they were out. PSYCHIC BADGE: We put a picture of a pokeomon on each back and let the kids ask 10 yes or no ?'s to guess it. SOUL BADGE: WE had a quiz about the bday boy and pokemon. (i.e. what is his fav pok, best card etc) THUNDER BADGE: Name pokemon till you cant and no repeats...they are good at this! We made a Gengar cake by turning over a 9X13 cutting out shape and icing. (kids loved it). We also cut out red jigglerswith a glass and whipped creme on half to make pokeballs. Every child got an official pokemon trainer nametag with ribbons hanging down to glue on their earned badges. EVERY ONE GOT ALL OF THE BADGES AND I CANNOT TELL YOU HOW EXCITED THEY WERE> I had a bag of starburst that I handed out to the 5 winners of every game and anyone who looked like they needed one.(no hurt feelings) They also got to keep the picture of the pokemon that had been taped to their backs and pokemon fruit snacks and a certificate for pokemon training. All the papers were "laminated with clear contact paper". In all I spent less than $25 and it was a blast enjoyed by all! They cant wait till next year...I can...
