We threw together a Pokemon party overnight.
7 boys, 7-13, had a great time for 3 - 3 1/2 hours. Using ping pong balls and plain lunch bags along with markers, they first made pokeballs and goodie bags with a Pokemon theme. Some game ideas were taken from your site: Name My Pokemon (stick a tag on the kids back, they turn their back to the group and get to ask five questions in order to identify it), Pin the Tail on pikachu -- my 13 yr. old drew a wonderful Pikachu on yellow posterboard, Hot Poketo, Musical Chairs (Pokemon theme music). They made their own ice cream sundaes starting with a 'ball' of vanilla ice cream. Toppings: red (strawberry), Black (chocolate), whip cream, coconut, nuts. Cupcakes were decorated like pokeballs. Start out with white frosting, sprinkle half with red sugar crystals, finish with a stripe across with purchased black tube icing. Very cute. As they ate, I filled their goodie bags with their poke balls (have them stick it in the bag as they finish both so they get their OWN ball), sticker and coloring pages from a purchased Pokemon sticker book, purchased Pokemon gum and puzzle cards, and candy. They spent about 10 minutes (with Moms and Dads waiting) exchanging stickers and coloring pages.
