My daughter was soooo into My Little Pony this year that we decided to have that as the theme.  INVITATIONS:I took a picture of my daughter on a pony ride at the local rodeo and then my friend created the invite by digitally removing the real pony and placing daughter on a my little pony figure...it was so cute it said something like gallop on over for her 3rd birthday pony party. When everyone arrived I had MLP DECORATIONS everywhere, some from store...tablecloths and napkins with plastic tumblers from Wal Mart.  I also made pony "Tails" from feather boas in all sorts of bright colors attached to the girls hair with little hair clips.  It was cute and fun to take home. I also used transparancies and the MLP web site to create large pony decorations on poster board. We used one of these for the Pin the tail on the pony game.  I also used her ponies as adult table decorations. GAMES: We played pin the tail on the pony with above poster board decorations and for the tail I used MLP stickers and attached curly ribbon to it. We also played Pass the Pony...like hot potato but with a MLP figure, when the music stopped whoever had pony was out. We also played eat like a pony.  My husband strung up apples(thread twine through center of apple with screwdriver and hang from swing set at level of kids mouth.  The kids then had to eat the apple the fastest with out using their hands.  Great picture opportunity.  We also strung up some apples for the grown ups. It was great seeing birthday girl's uncles, grandpas, dad and kids dads competing at this.  FOOD: Traditional chips and dip nothing extraordinary here.  Cake: Traditional Wal mart cake with MLP figure on it. FAVORS: For each girl she received the knock off MLP figures from Walmart, MLP toothbrushes, MLP stickers and tatoos, MLP Playdoh from Target and candy treat bags with MLP Valentines glued to them.  Thank you cards were pics of my daughter taken at JC Penney with her MLP dress on that her grandma made from MLP fabric at JoAnns and all her ponies surrounding her. Mom also wore MLP T shirt she bought at Kohls. It was such a good party.
