For one of my Birthday parties about 2 years ago (my 10th birthday) I loved horses at the time and alot of my friends were into horses too, so I asked my mom if I could invite 5 of my friends to go on a horseback-riding lesson! My mother was thrilled! She wanted me to start horseback-riding lessons and she thought it was a perfect way to see if I really liked them! And since my birthday is in February it was extremely cold. At the farm we stayed there for about a 2 hours then we went back to my house for cake and ice cream! while we were at the farm my brother video taped everyone on the horses and ponies so when we got back we had our cake and ice cream opened presents and watched the video! It was really cute! I still watch it sometimes! Then as my friends started to leave we played bingo and we gave out prizes such as TY beanie baby horses and candy. It was a blast, and I would recomend it to any horse lover! For invitations I made them on the computer and used word-art and made the front of the invite say "Saddle Up" and I put a horse in the middle of the page. On the inside I said to meet at my house to wear old boots/sneakers and old clothes (just so nobody's good clothing or good shoes get ruined) and like every other invitation the time date and place!
