Cowboy and Indian Birthday Party, My son
wanted to have a cowboy and Indian party, so we sent out Western invitations inviting all to come even the outlaws. When the children arrived we asked them to choose which they would like to be. I had hats for the cowboys and I cut construction paper and left glue and feathers on a table to make their own Indian headdress if they chose. Then each team was given a map where I burnt the edges to make it look authentic. When they found their treasure there was birthday party favors including Sheriff Badges, bubble guns, and nuggets that I had purchased at the dollar store and looked like something valuable to them. When it was time to go I gave the kids miniature treasure boxes instead of party bags. all the items I purchased were of a nominal cost, mostly over the internet and delivered right to my door.
