My daughter was turning 8 years old and we decided to take advantage of the 5 acres that we have and host a Pony & Hayride party for her and all of her friends!! We sent out pony
invitations and made a note for all of her friends to come dressed in their best cowgirl or cowboy outfit. The decorations were simple just a few bails of hay scattered around for people to
sit on, little tin buckets purchased at the dollar store to hold forks and spoons, and bandanas over a white sheet for the tablecloth. The other decorations were the kids themselves dressed
in jeans and cowboy hats..too cute!! I found directions for a cake in the shape of a horse's head and made and decorated it myself..was very easy with the help of the website. When the party
goers arrived the ponies that we had rented for the party were already there so each child took turns riding the 3 animals. While they were taking turns to make the wait for their ride go by
quicker, we also had rented a bouncy house for the kids to play in! This was a huge hit with the kids of every age, and we had kids from age 2-13! Once the rides were finished and the ponies
were in need of a break, we loaded the kids up(adults on either side of a child for safety!) on our trailer that was covered in hay! My husband pulled the trailer with our tractor around the
property and down the road to let the kids see the pond and the fish & turtles that play there! After our hayride the kids were ready for cake and ice-cream. We served up the hungry
bunch, opened presents and sent each child home with a treat bag including a bandana, pony stickers and lots of candy!! It was an awesome time and one she will always remember.
