For my son Caleb's 1st birthday, I did the Winnie the Pooh Playtime party.  I bought most of the partyware from Wal-mart, which included the themed tablecloths, dessert plates, napkins, cups, hats, invitations and treat bags.  I bought the latex and mylar balloons from Birthday Express and on the day of the party, I filled the balloons myself with a heluim tank that I bought from wal-mart--very convenient! I mailed the invitations about a week before the party and the birthday boy had his own personalized winnie the pooh address labels. The day of the party, the guests were greeted with a Pooh poster (from wal-mart) hanging on the door of the rental hall. I used plain tablecloths of coordinating colors in yellow, lime green and light blue for the guest tables. I put streamers down the middle of the tables. For example if it was a yellow tablecloth, I used the green and blue streamers. Then on top of the tables I put one of my BIG Winnie the Pooh stuffed animals. I have six of them that I've collected: Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, Eeyore, Rabbit and Kanga (Can't find Owl anywhere!).  I put Kanga and Rabbit on the opposite ends of the cake table. Eeyore sat on top of one of the green guest tables.  Piglet sat in a chair by the other green table.  Pooh sat on the blue table and Tigger sat in a chair by the yellow table.  Each one of them were dressed with a party hat and the ones on the guest tables had a Pooh mylar balloon tied to them as well. On the cake table along with Kanga and Rabbit, was a themed tablecloth, with the cake in the middle of the table, plates, forks and napkins. On the front of the table I had the Pooh, Tigger and Piglet wall decorations.  I ordered the cake through the Wal-mart bakery. ADORABLE!!!  It was decorated with green icing and covered with shiny candy sprinkles, with Pooh and Tigger swinging Piglet in a basket. It read 'Happy Birthday Caleb' and I used the number one candle. As soon as the guests had all arrived and settled we sang "Happy Birthday" and ate cake and ice cream. The kids usually have fun playing with each other and the balloons scattered on the floor, so I didn't plan any games. After the birthday boy made a mess with his cake, we opened his presents. \*Which of course he needed a little help and was more interested in the wrapping than the really cool gifts.\* On the present table was a themed tablecloth, a Happy Birthday themed banner that I found on-line which I taped to the front, and a cluster of helium balloons (one yellow, one green, two blue with stars, and a mylar balloon) taped to one end of the table and on the opposite end I had a toy wheelbarrow, which belongs to my 3 year old, filled with the themed treat bags.  Inside the bags were Pooh stickers, Pooh pencils, Pooh gummy treats and a punch ball balloon. The party lasted about an hour. It was a lot of fun for the birthday boy and his guests. I had fun with the decorating and now I can't wait for my three year old to turn four!!
