We had a Piglet-themed birthday party for our three year old daughter.
We had a huge mylar Piglet balloon which seemed to preside over all the activities, light and dark pink balloons and paper goods, a piglet cake (cut to the shape of Piglet's face from two round 9" cakes and frosted to look like Piglet), Pooh/Piglet juice boxes for the kids. The unique thing that I did was I made a beehive Pinata to go along with the pooh/piglet theme. I just used a large balloon, covered it with paper mache, and then with a layer of brown construction paper. I painted black horizontal stripes all around it to make it look like a hive, then painted some cute bumblebees on it. I also painted a black hole on the bottom, with yellow honey dripping out. I stuffed it with Pooh/Piglet fruit snacks, candy and some small toys. The kids had a great time trying to break it open (but eventually needed adult help.) I gave the kids Pooh/Piglet goodie bags from the party store in which to take their loot home. It was a fun activity for a bunch of 2-3 year olds. It was exciting, but only took about 10 minutes, which is about as long as their attention holds.
