We are big Pooh fans, so we centered our theme around, Pooh, "hunny", and games.
We naturally had many stuffed animals of Pooh and friends for centerpieces, holding balloons, and I had gone on-line for Classic Pooh pictures, that I cut out for backdrops. As a six-year-old's party, we played "Drop the balloon in the Hunny Pot" (water balloon tossed into a big garbage can, painted blue with gold "dripping" at the rim), and made a pinata to look like a "hunny" pot, with several tiny toy bees attached with crafter's wire around the top. We pulled Pooh music from a video, and did a stop/start dance as we turned it off and on...a play on "Freeze Frame". After some Pooh cake (a big blue-iced "hunny" pot with gold icing, and Pooh miniature characters running across), we ended with a game of "Find the Hunny", offering clues from place to place, on a six-year-old level, to find bright blue paper bags, drawn with a "hunny" pot on the front, and topped with crushed golden-yellow tissue paper around the rim. I attached the little bees to the tops of that. These were filled with tiny Pooh characters we've collected over time, Bit-O-Honey, and Pooh pencils (unsharpened) and pads. A few chocolate kisses to coordinate with the party colors finished the bags. We had some happy, busy bees!
