WE had A Pooh Bear Birthday party for my daughter Lauren that turned two. I began by making special invitations for the event. I had my friend who happens to be a photographer take a picture
of Lauren sitting on a blanket having a tea party with 2 of her pooh bears from home. I took the picture to Staples and had it scanned on card stock paper. Then I added vellum paper to the
top that laid over Lauren's tea party picture with Pooh. The invitation read "Come celebrate with Lauren who will be turning 2 and having a party with her best friend,
Pooh". The invitation was tied at the top with "pooh" colored ribbon. We had barbecue, Hotdogs, Rabbits Veggie patch with a stick figure of Rabbit in the middle, Pooh's
pickles, Pooh bear rumbly grams, and baked beans. We also had Pooh juice boxes for the kids drinks. The food table was decorated with her pooh bear and each card table consisted of a table
cloth and a centerpiece mum with a Pooh character on a Popsicle stick in the middle of the mum. I also had soft fuzzy bee stickers that I stuck around on the tables and so forth. The goody
bags were Hunny Pots with bee stickers on them. They had pooh gummies, pooh whistles, pooh clips, Pooh suckers(purchased from the Disney store), and
Pooh trick or treat stickers. The paper goods were Pooh grand celebration plates and napkins.(birthday express has them). I borrowed several kids picnic tables from my neighbors. The picnic tables had pictures of Pooh and a pack of crayons to color the picture with. I brought her kitchen set outside and made a sign for "Piglet's kitchen ". We put a smaller table by the kitchen set and I brought her push server cart out to serve at the table for the "Piglet's kitchen" patrons. We took her sandbox and made it "Roo's Sandpit". She just so happened to have pooh bear pails and shovels. Then, I took her brothers little tykes tool set and made it "Tigger's Tools". A sign was made for the entrance to the back yard that stated "Welcome to the Hundred Acre Woods". I also had Pooh music playing on a the C-D player. She blew the candles out on her pooh birthday cake. (Pooh Bear face pan made by local cake decorator). We all had so much fun including the birthday girl. The thankyou notes were a picture of Lauren sitting on the steps of the porch by her pooh bear looking as if she was engaged in a conversation with Pooh. Inside the scanned card read" "Now Pooh the party is over and I know we both had fun, so let's thank our friends and family for all that they have done". Hope all this helps ...we had a blast.
