For my daughters second birthday we did Winnie-the-Pooh.
For the invitations I printed them on the computer & misspelled words (the the way Pooh would). I used paper that had flowers already printed around the border & placed Pooh stickers on it. It read "Cum join us in The Hundred Akre Woodz for a piknik.......". I made a Winnie-the-Pooh cake & had hot dogs, PB&J sandwiches, chips, & Pooh juice boxes. I cover the tables with red & white checked table clothes (like it was a picnic). We had party hats, horns, & streamers (I got them all at Wal-Mart). For games we played the Tigger Bounce- whoever hopped the longest won a prize. We also harvested Rabbitz garden. I filled a box with sand and buried fruits & veggies in it. Whoever dug the veggies & fruit out the quickest won a prize. Another game we played was, Toss the Honey Bees in the Hunny Pot. I took a black witches pot that you find around Halloween. I painted it brown & drizzled some yellow paint down the side (to look like honey). I made clothes pins look like honey bees by painting them yellow & putting black stips around them. Then made wings for them with pipe cleaner. Each guest that got all 6 bees in the honey pot won a prize. The last game we played was, pin the tail on Eeyore. I drew a picture of Eeyore without a tail & gave each guest a tail made of construction paper to pin to him while blindfolded. Then we went on a hay ride through The Hundred Akre Woodz (It was just a trip around the block). At the end of the party I painted a honey bee on everyone's face. For prizes I gave Pooh pencils, tigger toothbrushes, & Pooh stickers. While she opened her gifts I gave each guest their "loot" bags.
