Winnie the Pooh 1st Birthday
For my daughter's first birthday I chose Winnie the Pooh. The invitation had Winnie sitting at a table with all his friends and when setting the table for my daughter I did it the same way. Balloons, all pastel colors like the colors on the invitations. The cake was ordered and was a replica of what the picture on the invitation. Because the weather was nice we had it outside. The table cloth was a green pastel. On the table I put the party/goody bags which were terra cotta pots painted in pastel colors. With a hot glue gun I applied the hot glue on the top of the terra cotta pots to resemble dripping honey. I then painted a bee buzzing on the pot. I filled it with a Winnie the pooh pez dispenser, sidewalk chalk wrapped in colorful cellophane to resemble candy, and a small Winnie the pooh book. Games included a Winnie the Pooh piņata and I hid a small honey jar in the backyard and had the kids try to find Winnie's honey.
