For my 12th Birthday party, i wanted to have a pool type party. We have a huge swimming pool in our backyard but my birthday is in January.I was searching on the internet and found out about Splash Lagoon that is in Erie, PA which is only 45 minuted from my house. Splash Lagoon is the worlds biggest indoor water park so I thought it would be fantastic for my party.I talked to my mom about it and she said I could invite 3 of my closest friends, Paige, Jackie, and Chwatey. They have hotels in the water park so we got a room for one night at the Comfort Inn(there are 4 hotels to select from). For each room you get you get 4-6 free passes to splash lagoon so that was fantastic! We loaded up and head to Splash Lagoon on a Saturday and arrived at 12:00. Check in isn't until 3:00 so we hit the hot tubs and whirl pool. Finally, we checked into the room and decorated it as much as possible. Then we headed back to the waterpark and rode all the slides and such. Shannon(my sister),Paige,Jackie, Chwatey, and I swam until 6:00 and my parents relaxed in the tanning salon,hot tubs, and steam room. We went back up into the room and ordered pizza. Then we ate ice cream cake because i hate regular cake. Next we opened presents at the huge table we had in the suite. At Splash Lagoon kids can go around the park by themselves as long as an adult of the 16 or older goes with you. Luckily, Shannon is 16 so we chilled in the wet zone until 10:00! We came back to the room, rented dvds and watch them all night. We talked about boys,school, friends, etc. We stayed up until like 2:00A.M! We woke up the next morning and went to play lazer tag. That was a blast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Going to Splash Lagoon was the best birthday party I ever had! You should try it too. It only cost about $400.00 total too!
