My sons 7th birthday was in August. We decided to have a super-soaker birthday party. I purchased super-soakers for all the children that were attending the party.(The super-soaker
was also apart of their goodie bags.) All the kids brought towels and came with their swimsuits on.
We had a large kids swimming pool set up in the yard for refills on their soakers. They were told a few simple rules and then off they went. Let me tell you, they had a blast squirting each other and getting soaked. Dad and my sons uncle had to join in on the fun, but they had the extra large super-soakers. It was the kids against dad and uncle. I heard kids comment on how this was the best party. There was no time limit, just plain old fun. (Luckily we had a hot, partly sunny day when rain was in the forecast.) We served cake and opened the presents, this was a great time to dry off before the party was over. This party was the easiest party to plan and one of the least expensive. I also had no mess to clean up since it was only water that needed to be dried up. The goodie bags were simple, they got to keep their super-soaker, water squishy balls and some candy. Oh, the kids swimming pool I mentioned for refills, the kids all ended up in the pool towards the end of the party. Overall, this was one of our best parties. I plan on doing it again next year!
