UNDERWATER PARTY Here's my idea for a waay fun underwater party(13yr)!   Invitations;Get half-pieces of type-paper and burn them a little bit with fire around the edges to give them a treasure-map look. Then roll it up and put it into a little bottle you can probably get at a dollar store.   Decorations:Get green and blue streamers and hang up green pieces of streamers from the ceiling for "seaweed". Cut out big and small bubbles from mettalicy-looking silver and blue wrapping paper.Hang up stenciled, drawn, blow-up, or plastic sea creatures.(fish, crabs, octopus, etc.)Have ocean sounds on when they walk in the house and greet them with a shell necklace or bracelet.  Food:For snacks you could have fish crackers, gummifish in blue jello, and green fruit roll-ups set out to look like seaweed. For the meal you could have fish(of course!), shrimp salad, and fruit kabobs with whipped-cream dip!   Games:One game you could do is "pass the bubble". It's played kinda like hot potatoe but you use a blue water balloon(You might need a lot!)Fill them up almost till explosion and then everybody stands in a circle about four feet apart from each other. They toss the balloon around,but instead of waiting till the music stops they wait until the balloon pops on someone. Whoever that is, is out!  You do this until there is one person left who is the winner!  An activity you could do is to make your own shell necklaces! Heres how: take tiny clamshells(about half an in. tall and wide) and poke little hole at the top. Then just put them on string or wire or whatever else you want to put them on. If you want to do more water games you could search over the internet under "water games" and you'll find some really good websites.  This party is best when you have a pool so after all that you can just swim.  HAVE FUN!
