I just had my daughter's 6th birthday and we wanted to do a pool party. We don't have a pool at our home so we rented the local YMCA out. I came up with what I thought was a good
treat for each child rather than the usual gift bags full of junk we throw away when the kids aren't looking. I bought plain white bath towels at target for 1.66 each and a stencil and
spray on fabric paint two girl colors and two boy colors pink, purple, blue and yellow the yellow wasn't the best choice cause it was kind of light so maybe red for the second boy color or
orange would be better. The paint is tulip cool color spray from the local craft store (Michael's)I think it was 2.99 a bottle but I have a lot left.
I stenciled each child's name on a towel alternating the letter colors and staggering the letters so you don't have to get them totally straight I bought the stencil at Wal-Mart for 96 I think. And then wrapped the towels with goggles bought at the local dollar store for two for 1.00. They came out so cute and are used weekly by most of the children. It rained so we had most of the party inside, but the YMCA does all the work once your there and after the rain stopped we went out for a little while. Hope all enjoy the idea.
