Pool Party For my daughter's 1st and 2nd birthdays, we had
pool parties. The second party's theme was Sailboats and Sandcastles. The cake was a sandcastle and I made sailboat cakes for the kids out of Twinkies. I put icing and different color sprinkles on the twinkies along with the sails made out of different color construction paper. The kids really loved it. For decoration, I floated plastic sailboats in the pool and used primary colored balloons and streamers. Sand pails filled with scoops and sandcastle forms served as party favors. I also made memory pages for her baby book for all the family and friends to write her a note. Pool Party II was the talk of the town!
