My son is in love with the Doodlebops, so for his first birthday party we had a Doodlebop Concert theme, since he is still too young to go to one of their actual concerts. At this time the only place to find doodlebop items is online. I went to Doodlebops.com and printed up concert tickets for the invitations and put a little note in the invitation envelope ticket saying present your ticket at the door for your Rockn' Doodlebop Concert." My little sister who is 10 was the ticket master at the door and collected tickets and directed people to the party.  (We rented a place at the fire house for the party).  I order the plates and napkins online and did the rest of the decorating myself.   First we ate lunch which most of the family helped in doing. We had doodle strutel even.  Then came the games. We played musical chairs to Doodlebops theme music (which was playing the whole time hence the concert theme) then the kids played a game where they had to race across the room to the finish line with a spoon and a cotton ball on the spoon.  I had prizes for the winners. Then came the cake since they didn't have a Doodlebop theme I printed up a picture of them online and had the baker transfer it onto the cake.  For decorations we had inflatable guitars hung from the ceiling musical note center pieces made from posterboard a walk of fame star I made with my son's name on it tons of Doodlebop Concert Posters printed from the website a large Doodlebop bus I made from posterboard and a picture colage of my son throughout the year with the lettering "Rockin' through the year." And I made party hats and gift bags for the kids with crayons doodlebop coloring pages toy cars tiny frisbees candy and noise makers. The party was a huge hit and everyone loved the theme. "
