My daughters 11th birthday party theme was the Cheetah Girls"...
since I know the "Cheetah Girls" are some what of a band I decided to make her b-day party a rock concert/sleepover. I made her invitations concert tickets...the V.I.P.'s (the 8 she picked out to join the sleepover) were giving V.I.P. passes which they had to wear the entire party (the tickets were passed out to her schoolmates and friends so were the V.I.P passes) 3 weeks prior to her party... on the front door we made a sign with a picture of her and the Cheetah Girls that said concert sold out.. we drew stars from the garage leading to the front door with guests names in them...front the front door we had red carpet (red gift wrap paper from the $ store) and we took pics of guests as they walked the red carpet...(paparazzi) we had a V.I.P's only sign hanging in the stairway leading upstairs...in the family room we turned it into a stage area with some inflatable guitars/microphonestars hanging from the ceiling and lots of ballons.... we also used a fog machine for the girls to put on their show... the girls picked for the band were V.I.P's (since they didn't practice for the show they just lip synched and danced) we had 6 people with cameras taking pictures of them performing.....they also walked around the party taking pictures with a badge that said paparazzi... all the girls received make overs the guys face painting..(for kids of all ages) we desiged book bags & t-shirts we had a scavenger hunt (we used magazines) they had to form 2 teams and locate items in the magazine...they were given 3 minutes to do so... dance contest we also had the Wii game with the air guitar for the boys... they ate pizza hot dogs and pretzels/nachos with cheese as if they were at a real concert (concert food) we also purchased a cake and had it made in the form of a guitar and microphone we ordered a photo prop and other items from site//site.all4parties.co.uk/glitz_n_glamour.htm we ordered the Cheetah girls card game... during the sleepover they played the card game and watched one of the Cheetah Girls movies... WE PLANNED THIS A MONTH IN ADVANCE TO GET EVERYTHING THE WAY WE WANTED...MY DAUGHTER HAD FUN HELPING PLAN HER CONCERT (PARTY)"
