Well, I wanted to do something REALLY fun for my 13th birthday. THEN I CAME UP WITH THE PERFECT IDEA!!! EVRYBODY LOVED IT!! It was a "YOUR A STAR" party.. and it was all my idea! : ) well, i made the invitations first off. Heres how to make them. 1. get some colored paper and cut the edges with a funky design. 2. glue little stars around the words "BE A STAR FOR ONE NIGNT IN CELEBRATION OF _________'s BIRTHDAY!" decorate it however you like. 3. on the other side write all the info.. like the day, time, what you will be doing, etc. note that it will be a slumber party and to bring an overnight bag.  Tell all your friends that on the night of the party a special ride will pick them up and you will all go to dinner. Also tell them to dress up as their faveorite movie star!! The "special ride" will be a limo that picks them up and brings everyone to your faveorie restaraunt! We went out for ice cream after our dinner, and to the movie store to rent a few movies. Driving around REALLY made us feel like we were famous!! When we got back to the house, we went to my basement. My basement is really comfy, and we have a big tv down there, too. Anyways, I took pictures of everyone with one of those cameras that gives you the picture right after you take it. Well, after that I lead them to a large room, where I had paper and a frame for each girl. We autographed the peices of paper and put our picture on it. We then framed it and everone loved their "party favor"! This made us feel even more like real celebs. After that, we got into our PJ's and watched the movies we rented. After a while, everyone fell asleep one by one. If you are an all-nighter, be sure to have some games like twister handy for some late night fun. When we woke up in the morning, my mom had a big breakfast of pancakes, bacon, everything. Then we got dressed and played some games like freeze tag, movie tag, hide and go seek, and other games in the front yard of my house while everyone waited to be picked up. (even though nobody wanted to leave!!) Eventually, everyone left except my best friend, who I hung out with for that day. I HAD SO MUCH FUN AND SO DID ALL OF MY FRIENDS!! EVERYONE STILL TALKS ABOUT IT!! they all said it was the best birthday party they have ever been to, hosted, or even heard of! I hope you try this Idea, and its perfect for any age.
