My daughter was turning 8, and like any other girl her age, she is madly in love with The Jonas Brothers, Kevin, to be more exact, so we decided to have a Camp Rock party, but she insisted she only wanted all her girl friends to come, so all 24 showed up that day. We are lucky enough to have a nice, open and bright clubhouse at our complex,it was the perfect venue our party. Like 3 months before I had walked into Target and found their dollar section filled with Camp Rock stuff, so they came in handy for the goodie bags. We bought purple paper bags and glued golden stars that had each girl's name on it, inside we filled them with memo pads, chap sticks, stickers and a ring pop. INVITATIONS: We printed out the invites on bright colored paper, they simply said S...'s ultimate ALL Girl Camp Rock (the oficial logo)party, date, time and place. They were rolled up and tided to a blown-up microphone, which the girls were told to bring back to the party. For FOOD we served hotdogs,potato salad,chips and salsa, white frosted cupcakes decorated with black musical notes, and for the cake I was able to find the sugar cake topper for Camp Rock which you can personalize. DECORATIONS:We decorated the clubhouse main wall with musical notes, blown-up guitars, different colored stars and signs that said STAR ad DIVA, which was the back-drop for the stage where the girls played karaoke. The tables were covered in red and purple tableclothes and in the center we placed a camp rock bag, purchased at the Disney Store, that stored red and purple helium filled balloons. On the side we had a Camp Rock message board in the form of a guitar, and the girls had sticky notes to write a nice birthday wish on. There was a table decorated with a Camp Rock table cover that had the goodie bags on it, and the red & purple chocolate star lollipops that were placed on a styrofoam rectangle that I painted purple and glued a star patch in the middle.  ACTIVITIES:We set up a table for the girls to decorate their own caps with different foam figures and glitter pens, all bought at the dollar store. The girls of course played musical chairs and freeze dance. Before going on stage to do the Kareoke, I set up a diva station where the girls got to do their hair and make-up, most of the things came from the dollar store, Walmart, and the clearance section at Claire's. We had wrapped up a regular cardboard treasure box with white paper and glued on Camp Rock logos printed online. It housed all the prizes for the games, I was lucky enough to get the 70% off sale at The Disney Store, so all the prizes were Camp Rock ones. The girls had a blast singing and dancing to Camp Rock and The Jonas Brothers music. Some of the moms even asked me to plan their daughter's parties for them.
