For my best friend's 14th birthday party she designed an extra cool dance/karaoke party!! It was probably the best party I've ever been to and it was cheap!!! For invitations she bought some blank CD's for a dollar and recorded her details for the party. She decorated the case and when you would open it on the left side it would say: Place in any CD player to listen. Then she put most of the party in her basement but you could do the same thing in an apartment. First she made one part of the basement the stage by getting cardboard and placing it over the carpet. Everybody who sang got rated by a judge and at the end, the winner got to sing their song again and it would get recorded on CD, which afterward they would get to keep and decorate. Then there were two cakes since there were so many people. One was formed in a CD with it saying : HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMANDA!!!! Then the second one was formed as a microphone saying the same thing. We danced to a lot of music and played a gam ethat she made up called spin the hat. When somebody got the hat they would have to grab a name out of the hat and sing a duet with the person and dance while you sing. Then we played some normal b-day party games. At the end she gave really cool lootbags with hit clips and all sorts of music stuff!! In the end the party was a BLAST!!!! This is a really cool and cheap party!
