Princess Sleep-Over Party 6 yrs old. My daughter is turning 6 this year and this is how we planned her party! We started off with an invitation custom made by my father (a graphic artist) Of
the Princess and the pea sleeping on all her matresses. Inside was a basic party invitation with the exception of Wear your favorite Princess Pajamas and Bring a sleeping bag! Girls only! We
started off the party by playing Princess music in the background so the girls could dance and talk while we waited on everyone to arrive! We started the party at about 3:oo pm. After
everyone had arrived we handed out the party Favors! Crowns, Sceptors, and play jewelry (all of which was bought at our local dollar store!) We unpacked the (mommy's) makeup and we all had a
blast doing each others makup and hair. Then I ordered the pizza so it would arrive in about an hour. after we ordered the pizza I pulled out the sugar cookie dough and preheated the oven,
The girls rolled out the dough and used crown, star, and slipper cutters to cut out cookies. (These were bought for around $1.99 each at a local craft shop). We panned them all up and put
them in the oven. While we waited on the cookies we sat in a circle and did a round robin story. This is really fun and encourages the girls to be creative! I started the story, "Once
upon a time," and then the girls took turns adding romantic, Sad, and very silly lines to the story. Then we pulled the cookies out and the pizza arrived. While we munched on the yummy
pizza in the living room floor we watched the princess movie that got the most votes from the girls (Barbie Fairytopia). Once all this was done we decided it was time for some sweets, the
cookies had cooled enough so I pulled out the girlie colored icing and pretty sprinkles etc... and we decorated our princess cookies. (this was our birthday cake substitute) By this time it
was around 6:30-7:00pm We decided this was the perfect time to open presents, the kids were all wired from the cookies and excitement of (most of) thier first sleepover. I opened boxes as the
Birthday princess opened the presents and when she was done the girls shared the new toys. We had one last event planned for the evening. Whats more fun than Princess Karaoke! The girls took
turns singing their favorite (Disney) Princess songs. (We purchased a princess karaoke cd for $11.99) By this time we were all pretty tired so I picked a couple of pricess books from my
daughters huge collection and read a couple of stories to the sleepy Princess. Most were still awake so I let them chatter till they were ready to fall asleep. The next morning They all got
up and had a Yummy Royal Breakfast of (Disney) Princess Cereal lol. Then they got dressed in clothes their moms had provided, and brused teeth and played together till around 10 am when I had
scheduled the pickup time. The girls had a blast and it was a huge sucess! 8 girls total showed up from her class and family (be sure to RSVP for somthing like this!) The total cost for
everything came to about $135. This included the crowns etc, Princess Music CD, Cookies, Cookie cutters, Cookie decorations, and Pizza.(we didn't do any extra decorating to the house, but
that would also be fun!)
