My daughters princess party started out with invitations that were made specifically for each child. They were addressed with their name as Prince or Princess and stated that Princess Reed
request their attendance at the (use last name) castle. It was also stated that proper attire be worn. The paper was rolled up to look like a scroll and tied with a ribbon and had a feather
stuck into the ribbon. They were all hand delivered. The cake was a 3 tiered cake with white icing and pink accents and pearl beading along the scalloped border on the cake plate. It looked
more like a wedding cake and as a topper it had a hand blown crystal princess castle. The decoration on the table holding the cake was sheer material (about 20 yrds) in pink and white bunched
up with lots of silver confetti and sparkles everywhere also small white twinkle lights were placed under the material to give added sparkle.. We also had every princess related item
..castles...swans with wings dipped in silver glitter and glass slippers holding silver wrapped hersey kisses. At the castle entry we had several tables decorated the same as above mentioned
table (sheer fabric, etc...) that had silver trays with necklaces, crowns, tiaras, earring, make-up, feather boas and plenty of magic wands and swords that light up and make noise for all the
boys. Also shields with different crests painted on for the boys. The best part had to be the balloon arch that led the way to the cake it was a simple garden arch covered with about 400
balloons(pink and white) and then along the pathway sides in front of arch I had balloon clusters that lined the way in clusters of 4 that led the way to the cake and gift area. After the
kids arrived and played with swords and put all their jewelry on we went to the game area which was full of balloons tied into clusters for decor. The games were a clothes pin race and a
silly guessing game.....put gross things (rice and spagetti etc..)into containers and kids have to stick hands in to retrieve gold coins to win prize from the treasure chest. Moms joined in
and loved it. Next games were outside. An obstacle course and a unicorn pinata. Last and best game was played with 4 large metal buckets filled with sand. The kids had to dig to find
cans of silly string. Each of the 12 kids has about 5 cans and the last thing was a huge silly string fight. Each child left with a bag filled with toys from the treasure chest and moms who
played the games were given pink organza bags filled with chocolate kisses...after all they were such good sports about being covered with silly string. The hard part was popping and picking
up the 600 or so balloons and folding all the fabric after the party and picking off all the silly string stuck on my daughters beautiful princess gown. I am sure I left out some things I
will think of later. Have fun moms!
