For my daughter Chloe's 4th birthday party she wanted to have a princess party. So I ordered the personalized Disney Princess Invitations from birthdayinabox.com. They stated Princess Chloe
requests the honor of your presence at her 4th royal gala celebration at her fairy castle. I also had everyone come dressed as his or her favorite fairytale princess or prince. Everyone
looked so cute. I also ordered the entire princess party plates and cups from here. Great site. From Stumps.com I found great props to set the tone. I ordered the castle, castle gate and
princess throne (which I decorated) it looked so cute. I also ordered lots and lots of balloons. My daughter just loves Cinderella and I found these huge balloons from birthdayexpress.com
with her on them. They looked great around the house. I love to use a lot of balloons. I rented a tank and had 100 balloons in various places around the house. Also, I put balloons on every
chair in the house to make it festive. It just looks so festive. On all the windows I put up the princess decorations that I had bought and birthday princess banners were also up throughout
the house. Since it rained I emptied my daughter's playroom and set up the castle gate in one corner with her chair and set all the presents in this area. When the guests arrived I welcomed
them to our castle and each was given a pre-made crown to wear as well as a pearl necklace and pearl Arial bracelet. Everyone walked through the castle entrance to the party room. The room
looked like a castle fairyland. It was beautiful. On each table i had a castle centerpiece that I purchased from Stumps.com I also printed out pictures of all the princesses and put them
around the centerpieces on every table. Tables were set up for arts and crafts. From orientaltrading.com I bought wooden jewelry boxes for the girls and wooden treasure chests for the boys. I
pre-painted them pink, lavender, and blue. They princesses and princesses decorated their boxes with various jewels. The kids loved this. After this activity we had McDonalds for all the kids
(a big hit) then I had a Ballet teacher come for an hour and do a princess story line with ballet. The kids had a lot of fun. Even the boys enjoyed this. She also did a birthday parade with
musical instruments. I had found these great rainbow ribbon wands for the children from hearthsong.com the kids loved waving them around. They also got to keep them as part of their goody
bag. Thank goodness the weather cleared up and we did this part in our driveway. She brought her own music, radio, everything. She did a great job. After this, the weather still held up and a
pony came for an hour and a half. The children were given a little talk about ponies first and then they got to brush the pony, ride and feed the pony. Big hit. After this we went back inside
to create another craft. They children made necklaces and bracelets. I found the most beautiful sparkling beads from Birthdayexpress.com in the Ariel section. The parents had fun making the
jewels with the kids. After this I found a castle piņata from pinatas.com (they have the largest selection of piņatas I have ever seen/they are very reliable). We went outside and I like to
use the pull strings on the piņatas and the kids had fun pulling the different colored strings to open the piņata. After this I wrote a story for my daughter about princess Chloe and
the children went on a treasure hunt to find the lost treasure of princess Chloe (I found a great treasure chest at birthdayexpress.com filled with jewels). They had fun looking for the
treasure with the clues provided in the story. After this we went inside and had cake. The cake was absolutely beautiful. It had a lavender background and a lot of princess figurines on top
that I found at pattycakes.com. The kids loved it. Last but not least we opened princess Chloe's presents. As she sat on her royal throne and her maidens helped her. Everyone had a great
time, I think the adults were more exhausted than the kids. As a party favor for the girls I had little goody bags filled with powder puffs, nail polish, glitter dust, compacts, hairbrush
set, cologne all Disney related from the Disney store. I also got the girls wands, tiaras, princess books, princess cell phone and I made a princess coloring book for them. For the boys I
found a sword, shield and helmet, wooden puzzle, and book. They also got Thomas the trains in their goody bags because they just love them. This was a fun party for me to plan and everyone
had a great time. Everyone was always busy with an activity, the day was over before we knew it. Everyone raved about this party. The kids didn't want to leave.
I made princess punch for the girls with rainbow sherbet, ginger ale, sparkling apple cider, strawberries and orange slices - big hit served with princess cups and little umbrellas. I also had a spread for all the adults chicken Marsala, veal, lasagna, stuffed breads and a selection of appetizers. We also had cookies and ice cream with the cake. It does take a lot of time and preperation to plan this party. You need to be really organized. But, the look on my daughters face was priceless and it is worth all the effort. She loved it!
