For my daughters 6th birthday we had a Princess Party. For invitations I bought printer paper that looked like a scroll. They said Hear Ye! Hear Ye! Princess___ invites you to celebrate, Date,
Time, Place, Attire- Princess and Prince attire, RSVP, At the bottom we traced castles and put glitter glue on them. Then we rolled them up and tied them with ribbons. She delivered them to
her class in their mailboxes. We had her party at a local gym, lots of room for games. Decorations: We had pink, purple, and blue tablecloths, streamers and balloons. We had Disney princess
plates, cups, and napkins. The cake had all the Disney princesses on it. We also served ice cream and princess punch(raspberry sherbet and sprite). We made a castle out of cardboard and grey
paint and took all the guest pictures next to it. We mailed a picture of each guest along with their thank you notes. When the guest started to arrive they made tiaras or crowns. I precut
these out of gold poster board. We had sticker jewels and glitter glue to decorate them and fastened them with paper clips. Games: We played pin the slipper on Cinderella. Jasmine's Musical
Carpets- My daughter decorated poster boards to look like carpets and I helped her put tassels on. Kept her busy for a week before the party. Belles Feather Duster Relay(got the idea from
this site). Sleeping Beauty's obstacle course- the boys liked this one the best. They had to cross a "bridge", get past the "forest of thorns" and sleigh the dragon, then
give sleeping beauty a kiss(a chocolate one). For Ariel we played Ursala's Octopus Tag- one person was Ursula and the rest were merpeople.
Then we played Pass the Poison Apple for Snow White-whoever was holding the poison apple when the music stopped was out and their gift was opened. For gift bags I found little Gable totes at the dollar store. We filled them with Kisses, gummy frogs and either Disney princess stickers or frog stickers, the girls got wands that we made from the leftover gold poster board, dowels and ribbon and the boys fought with swords of cardboard and foil. We burned copies of my daughters princess's CD. All the girls liked these the boys were not that thrilled. My daughter said it was a magical party!!
