For my daughter's third birthday she wanted to have a birthday tea party. We invited all of the girls from her pre-school to the birthday tea party and added a princess theme. We
made the invitations that rhymed the whole way through.
We then made princess cone hats for all twelve girls out of felt and shinny netting but left the basic hat plain. Daddy was the butler that served the girls their tea. When the girls arrived they had their tea set up with their princess hat at each place. I also bought jewelry at the dollar store for each little girl to put on and keep. We made chocolate tea cups and saucers as well as chocolate princess suckers for the girls. We then had all of the girls decorate their hats and wear them. They all had their hair done in curls and were wearing their best little dress. They were true princesses. Then we took a picture of each girl to send home as a memory. All the girls moms came with them and while the girls drank their "tea" (which was apple juice or lemonade) and ate their tea sandwiches and cookies, we ate pizza. We ended with singing happy bithday and the cake was a tea pot. It was at great day for the girls but it was just as nice for the moms to get to know each other and enjoy their princesses for a day. My daughter was never more thrilled and woke up the next day asking if it could be her birthday again!
