For my daughter's 2nd birthday, we decided to go all out with a princess tea party. The invatations were created on the computer and were a pokadot pink teapot which had the party details and
I attached a small tea bag to each invatation that had a little tag (where it would normally say lipton") and put "Simply 2".
We set the scene with a red carpet and my husband created a castle look for our house by cutting out pieces of plywood and putting them on the stoop of our house. We put flag that had a "2" on the castle. Inside the house one for make-up one for outfit and one for accessories. I made "dressing" rooms for the girls to change in the bathrom and bedroom and used a rod with material on the doorway for it to look fancy. The girls all came and got dressed then sat down for tea they also recieved tea cookies. They all loved putting the sugar cubes into their tea it was a big hit! About half-way through the tea Cinderella came to the door! All of the girls were so excited while Cinderella sang for them and had tea with them. After the tea they all took turns taking pictures with Cinderella. I sent a picture of each little girl with the thank you cards after the party. Each little girl left with a plastic tea cup and saucer that I purchased from bithday express filled with lipgloss a necklace making kit stick on earrings necklace and rings and I wrapped it with celophane and tied with a bow. The cake was a 2 tier checkered cake with baby cinderella on top having tea with a mini tea set. "
