My 5 year old daughter loves NASCAR so she decided on a Race car party.  We sent "Race on Over" invitations that we created with a checkered flag stamp and black and white checked background paper.  We decorated the table with a red table cloth and used black square napkins on point for the table runner.  We used plain white paper plates, red cups and found black and white checked napkins at a party store.  In the center of the table I put a red Barbie corvette with a checkered flag sticking out the back with a Jeff Gordon teddy bear "driving" the car.  I put a sign on the doorway to the room that said "Welcome to Victoria Lane" (that's her name). My husband is in the automotive business so we had Roll the Tire relays.  Each of the guests got to take home their own Hotwheel car. The cake of course was decorated with a Jeff Gordon car crossing the finish line.
