For my son's 4th Birthday we celebrated with the Rescue Hero/Firetruck theme.
I started by using the invitation form the Rescue Hero website. The room was decorated with pictures of the Rescue Heroes taken printed from the RH website. Each of the pictures had a special message from the Rescue Hero. The words Cool, Positive, Viture, Sensitivity, Perseverance, Responsible, Resourceful, Non-Violent, Courage etc adorned the walls as a means of encouragement and motivation to the kids and well as parents. As the guest arrived they were handed their orders for the day. They were given their name badges along with a special assignment. Their special assignment was to color code the uniform of Jake Justice (a coloring page printed from the Rescue Hero website). Just as they were completing the special assignment, the fire truck came roaring down the street, and the kids took off. They were so excited, they were able to take pictures on the truck, try on the hat and the Jacket they had a ball. After the firetruck left the kids took turns hitting the firetruck shaped piņata that was filled with toys and other treats. They were given their goody bags that were filled with a cup, a Fire Chief Badge, Rescue Hero Whistle, Old Maid Cards and dinosaur for the boys and a bracelet for the girls. The children really had a great time, I also give a special note to the parents giving them more information about the Rescue Heroes, we all had a great time.
