Rescue Heroes Party:
We all went to a local firehall for a 45 min. tour & all the kids received a red fireman's hat from the Birthday boy, they were all very very excited. The firehall crew gave out coloring books too. Came home to play a fire hose relay game running around pylons to put out the huge cardboard fire display, using a white venting hose with balls inside. The kids just give the hose a fast swish & the balls came flying out. Then we gave out awards which were badges found on the net "fisherprice.com" under "Rescue Heroes". Also printed out the invites & thank you notes from there too. Went on to have a tug-a-war game & that was a huge success. Everyone also received name tags that were found on the net same as above, then I did the self lamination process I picked up at Wal-mart(cheap too!). They all felt like real Rescue Heroes with their special official "Rescue Heroes" name tags. Then onto craft time, we painted wooden motorcycles & helicopters I picked up at a local craft store. They went nuts for those. The loot bags were the fireman's hats & animal balloons. All the boys totally loved the party cause there was so much fun stuff to do!! Keep'n them busy is the key when you have 12 kids. HAPPY PARTY'N!! KIDS ARE THE BEST!
