For my daughter's 1st Birthday we had a Rubber Ducky Party! For the invitation I created them on Microsoft Publisher using my daughter's picture of her in a metal tub with the rubber
ducky sitting beside her. The outside said, "rubber ducky your the one...", and the inside "that's going to make grace's first birthday so much fun!" And the
directions were to "waddle on over to the pearson pond".
Turned out VERY cute! I decorated the envelopes with Bubble Stickers from a scrapbooking store. For the party we made cupcakes with blue icing similar to the ones on BirthdayExpress.com and placed rubber duckies on top. We served chips & ice cream since my daughter was only 1 with a short attention span, we wanted to keep it short & sweet! We served blue kool aid in a punch bowl with rubber duckies floating in it. We bought clear loot bags and decorated them with the same bubbles that i used for the invites. Inside we placed a umbrella hat, bath sponge & paint, loofa, bath crayons, and candy. The rubber ducky party is PERFECT for a little ones first birthday!
