For my daughters 2nd birthday party I did a rubber duckie theme. For decorations I cut duck shapes out of posterboard and drew on eyes and a beak, I cut wave shapes out of the blue posterboard
and taped around the room. Then I put the ducks floating on the waves, with the left over ducks I hung them from the ceiling with string in different lengths. For the table cover I purchased
a blue paper tablecloth and stamped ducks and bubbles around the border, for plates, cups, etc. I bought them in yellow and blue and altered on the table. The punch bowl was filled with blue
kool-aid that I floated the mini rubber duckies in, plus this doubled as a prize opportunity because I put numbers on the bottom of each duck and the children picked a duck and matched it to
the prize. I also was lucky enough to find a duck set that had the baby ducks on the moms back when removed the mommy duck doubled as a dip bowl. For the duck cake a made a 3-D cake that I
found at www.birthdayexpress.com. My daughter loved all of it, I hope you get some ideas and enjoy it as much as we did!
