We had a Rubber Ducky party for our daughter's second birthday.  I already had the plates from a prior baby shower, and our daughter loves Sesame Street and taking a bath, so it was a great theme for us. Invitations: I found rubber ducky invitations online for 1/2 price. They were light blue, mint green, and lavender, with a rubber ducky on them.  I typed the following verse and taped it on the inside cover--Rubber Duckie you're the one!  You'll make her party so much fun!  Rubber Duckie Deanna is turning two!"  I got the matching thank you notes also.  Decorations: The party was at the city park pavillion.  There were live ducks there but the kids didn't like them! I alternated lavender and yellow tablecloths on the picnic tables and put a strip of blue down the center of the tables for water.  The centerpieces were rubber ducky mylar balloons surrounded by yellow lavender and white balloons tied with white yellow and lavender ribbon.  The balloon weights were bottles of yellow baby wash.  Rubber duckys and lavender and yellow favor bags were scattered on the tables.  We played the Sesame Street Bath Time cd which featured "Rubber Duckie". I set up the Lucky Ducks game on the kids table.  We had a bubble machine and the kids loved it!  Food: We had sandwich platters chips sodas cake cupcakes and assorted novelty ice creams.  The cake was a sheet cake with a round cake on top covered with white frosting. It had an edible rubber ducky transfer on the round cake.  It was piped with blue frosting and had rubber ducky candies on it. The cupcakes had either white blue or yellow frosting on them. Some had rubber ducky candies on them some blue sprinkles and some had "quack" written on them in frosting. Plates napkins forks and cups were alternating yellow & lavender. Some of the dessert plates had a rubber ducky splashing in the middle surrounded by a lavender border with mint green and light blue circles.  Favors: Treat bags were alternating yellow and lavender.  For the younger kids they were filled with a rubber ducky rubber ducky bubble necklace washcloth bath sponge and bubble bath.  For the older kids there was a water gun water balloons splash ball. We had a rubber ducky pull string pinata filled with candy. "
