Rubber Ducky Party for 2 yr. old - For my son's 2nd birthday I sent out invitations I put together.  I sent out a Rubber Duck with a tag tied with a navy blue ribbon that read, "Quack, Quack, Quack, Carter is turning two!" Join us (date) for a Ducky Barbeque.  I put each duck on top of blue shredded paper inside a small box purchased at the party store and sent them via mail. Paper products I bought online has a rubber duck surounded by bubbles.  I will decorate with balloons and streamers in yellow, blue and purple. Also will put all sizes of rubber ducky's around, including a big one for a centerpiece on the children's table. My guests will arrive up my front steps following orange duck feet that i made with oak tag and enter the front door that has a yellow caution sign reading Duck Xing that I made. I also made the children duck hats using orange foam visors and made eyes with yellow and white foam centered with goggle eyes. Each visor is personalized with each childs name.  My kids are already having fun with them.  I will give each child a duck whistle (purchased on line) along with their hat in place of party hats and horns. We will play "Toss the Ducky in the Pond" using a box I covered in blue tissue paper and three bean bag ducks. We will bob for rubber ducks in a blow up baby bath tub, each duck will have a sticker corresponding to bags with prizes filled with tub tints, rubber duck sponges, fun bath foam and bean bag ducks. Other games- Pin the ducky in the tub, Pass the ducky (hot potato) to rubber ducky you're the one, ducky pinata, and duck, duck, goose. Other prizes include bubble bath and ducky pens. Favors are yellow tin buckets I bought at the dollar store filled with flip flops with rubber ducks on them, fun foam bath, rubber duck bubbles and of course a fun rubber duck.  The babies will get a rubber duck family (mommy and 3 baby ducks).  We will have an extensive barbeque for lunch. I will include buckets with chex labeled "duck feed", cheese and quackers, blue punch with ducks floating in it, vanilla ice cream balls rolled in duck sprinkles topped with a candy duck that I will put into a a foil cupcake cup.  I will purchase a birthday cake that the baker will copy the rubber duck on the paper products. Can't wait.
