Rubber Ducky Birthday Party For my son's first birthday, I wanted a very juvenile birthday theme - so I chose Rubber Ducky.
I made the invitations by taking white foam board and cutting out a shape of a duck. I then printed "Rubber Ducky You're the 1" on a yellow sheet of paper and "that will make Grayson's birthday lots of fun. Waddle on over date, time and location. Please RSVP and we'll make sure everything is just ducky. phone number" I cut out those 2 pieces of paper in the shape of a smaller duck, whole punched it on top of the white foam paper and tied a ribbon to attach all 3 pieces. I colored the beak orange and glued a "giggly" eye on the top sheet. I rented a pavilion at a local park that had a pond. The activities included a ducky piņata (purchased from birthdayexpress.com), a tub of water that had floating ducks and the kids had to pull one out that had a dot on the bottom for a prize, face painting and feeding the ducks at the pond. Party favors were a rubber duck family for the younger children and foam bath spray for the older children. The cake was a big rubber ducky with smaller one for the birthday boy.
