Well, for my 13th birthday party I am thinking about doing a giant scavenger hunt/dance. Since we live on a farm, we decided to do it at my house. First, we will post a sign at our front gate
saying to stop and pick a color bandanna from a basket. (the bandanna will determine what team the party guest will be on)When all the guests arrive, we will tell them about the theme of the
party. They will then be asked to put their color bandanna on,(anywhere on their body) We will tell them that there is a series of three competions. A giant scavenger hunt across the
property, a water baloon toss, and a dance-off. (I am a dancer and love this idea) Back to the scavenger hunt...There will be 6 plastic eggs filled with puzzle pieces across the yard. The
team will have to find the eggs and then come back to the starting point. There, they will have to put the puzzle pieces together. When they are done with this task, they will find that there
is another clue on the back of the puzzle. Since, we live on a lake, and have three different kinds of boats, the clue will tell them where to go and what boat they will use to get acroos the
shortest part of the lake. After getting across the lake, they will find a flag with their color on it. They will be required to dig up the flag and then race back to the finish. The first
team back wins a prize! After the all the teams are done, we will reward the points. The next competion will be a water baloon toss. The guests will throw the baloons until there is a winner.
( since there is more than 2 team members on each team the team will divide.) After that is done, we will again reward more points. The final competion is a dance-off. This game will be
individual in which the winner will get a certain amount of points for their team. Ok, well, after ALL of this is done..there will be a winning team. The team will get the prize and then we
will cook out. This is a great party idea of a group of middle schoolers and up.
