Treasure Hunt This last year my niece wanted an idea for a party.
I said what about a Treasure Hunt. We started off with a list of items to check for. We were sent to a car dealership and to look in the window and see how many items we could see. Well there was stapler, telephone book, chairs, desk and a list of things that go on and on, I think I wrote 20 down. Then we had to get a banana, so I ran into the store picked one and ran up to the counter pad and ran out. I do mean I ran. Then we were told to go to the river road there was this address were to find. Well my brother-in-law works at the Post Office and of course he knows all the streets and he picked a hard to find one, but it was on the way to the pizza hunt. Which we figured out and no one else did. Then we had to find out at Wal-Mart what the lowest price on a pair of thong underwear were. SO we were tricky we called and got the lowest price while everyone else in the bunch ran in and checked it out. Lucky we got the right information. We were then sent to a small mall (which was closed) and suppose to find something with an Eagle (well it was a mail box) then something to do with a store that sold Beanies which I had never heard was even in this mall. We met then at the Pizza Hut and the table was decorated with all the partyware of the 60's Flower power items. On the way there was frog you were suppose to spot - well in December in MT that is pretty unlikely. Well my mother-law has one in her front yard (not real) but it counted. Well there was one on the table and I didn't even see it. Darn could of gotten points for that. My husband, son and I in second because we didn't get the bonus points and my niece with grandma in her car and had 4-5 of them working on the plan-0-gram. Although she maybe didn't know the plan - it helped having her in the car. I mean like the beanie store she collects and her dad would of mentioned to her there was a new store. Gift certificates were given out for the prize winner and we all had a wonderful time.
