I did this when I turned 12. First, you make up a list, previous to the party, of things you find at the mall.
When you arrive at the mall, explain to the participants the rules:1. When you check something off the list, write down the shop you found it in, and the price.2. If you can't find something, no matter how hard you try, you can replace it with doing something embarrassing. (Example: Dress up in a feather boa and hat, and wave hi to passerby's.) Make sure it's okay with the store manager, and have him/her sign on the list next to the object you couldn't find. Then you split up in two groups. (If there are more than ten people, there can be multiple groups.) Make sure there is a responsible adult in each group, and appoint a meeting time and place. Whatever group gets back first, with everything checked off wins the grand prize of a dollar each. I recommend this party to older kids or teens, as parents are wary when their kids are running around in the mall.
